Preserving the Past for the Future

The Belvidere Historic Preservation Commission consists of Belvidere residents who are dedicated to preserving the past of Belvidere. The Commission works with the City of Belvidere and the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency to identify and help to preserve historically and architecturally significant properties in our community. The Commission meetings are open to the public, and they welcome more community involvement. If you are interested in preserving historical landmarks please join them at 7:30 P.M. on the 4^th Wednesday of the month at City Hall.
